This is "Journey Faith", otherwise known as "the bucket pup". Some folks reported to us that there was a stray puppy in a nearby town that had been living in a 5 gallon bucket, and had a severe injury to her jaw. Once a foster stepped in to take on the poor pup, the vet visit revealed that she had terrible jaw infections that had affected the bone. This required some pretty intensive surgery to take away the dead bone and tissue, pull infected teeth, and insert plates to help realign and stabilize her jaw. Thanks to our generous supporters we were able to get her that initial surgery, as well as a second one to remove the plates so that the infection could continue to heal. Today she's enjoying the good life after finding her furever home.
